Fawad Khagga (Humayun Saeed) falls for Amal (Mehwish Hayat) who has graduated from a university in London. Not harbouring mutual feelings for his cousin Durdana (Urwa Hocane), Fawad sets out on a quest to win Amal’s feelings and bring her with him to Punjab. Amal is shown to have a strong sense of self, already wishing to marry her university friend, Vasay, but alas, Fawad wants what he wants and he travels across Punjab to Karachi in order to prove it to her. The film has its set of hurdles where Fawad gets thrown into jail after physically trying to drag Amal back with him, for instance. However, after several altercations and serious consequences suffered by Fawad for his actions, Amal and him reunite eventually, bringing her to Punjab so that they may live happily ever after.
